About Greg

My Singing Journey

I’ve been singing since I was a kid. My parents tell me I would stand up on the living room coffee table and belt out a rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game!” I grew up jamming out in the car to Disney soundtracks, Celine Dion, a Capella groups, and Josh Groban. When I didn’t make the basketball team in high school, I joined the choir instead…and I’ve been singing ever since.

    Singing Greg Harrison about me

…but what it all really means is this: I love singing. I know what stage fright feels like. I know what callback and casting anxiety feels like. I know how much time and energy it takes to be a performer.

And I want to be on your team, guiding you along the way to become the performer you’ve always wanted to be. I can’t do it for you, but I’ll be alongside you every step of the way, as high as you want to climb.

    How Can I Help You?

There are countless great singers out there…

    but there’s only one you.

Your unique, valuable voice has a place with the band, on the stage, in the spotlight…wherever your heart longs to take you. But trying to sound like everybody else won’t get you there.

My job in the studio is to invite you to explore, play, experiment, take up space, and discover what you’re capable of.

This is not the studio of cookie cutter warmups and “all my students sing this song.”

This is not the studio where you sound or act like someone you’re not.

This is the studio where you have fun…innovate…embrace who you are…and *finally* discover your unmistakable sound. (You know–the sound you hear in your head when it’s quiet, and you let yourself get honest about what you really want.)

Greg is an amazing singing teacher. I don’t think I’ve sung this well ever. He’s very enthusiastic and loves it when you make progress and he makes it very easy to understand. But don’t think he will baby you. He will do things on purpose.
